This collection of wood boxes, cutting boards, spoons, and letter openers is made entirely from wood rescued
from the landfill or burn pile. This wood comes from a variety of sources. There are many large-scale wood industries in Western
Wisconsin generating tons of waste wood. This wood is available to the public before a truck comes to take it to the landfill.
Many people collect this as free firewood-I prefer to make beautiful, useful objects. Some of the wood used is also drop
from my own custom furniture projects. All of the pieces are finished with non-toxic shellac and wax, or mineral oil. Enjoy!
