A weekly summer day camp for children
ages 5 to 14 years at LAMAR. Each camp session lasts one week. The camp schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 am to
1 pm. At the end of the camp sessions, all campers and their families are invited to the Lamar Music Festival, which will
include a kids art show and fun for the whole family. The cost of the camp is $54.70 for each week (see weekly descriptions
below), payable in advance to WITC, plus $30 for materials each week, payable to the instructor. Campers will need to

Art of Every Kind with Friends, ages 8-10 Monday –Friday, July 27 to 31,
9am to 1pm. Come experiment with a mound of art supplies while learning some new skills
too. Get ready to have fun and bring out the artist in you. Taught by artist-instructor Alyssa Noterman who has a Bachelors
degree in Art Education, has
taught at Grantsburg School, and through Osceola Community
Education. Her main visual disciplines are painting and collage work.
Pottery and Sculpture, For ages 11 – 14 Monday
–Friday, August 3-7, 9am to 1pm. Come build with clay and found objects for a fabulous week of pottery and sculpture.
Taught by potter extraordinaire and former teacher Win Herberg.
Dazzling Art, For ages 5-7 Monday –Friday, August 10-14,
9am to 1pm. Get messy and create! Younger kids will love the dazzling art projects
planned for them in this week of art fun, friends, and outside play. Taught by founder of the Kids Art Camp and artist-instructor
Brooke Dierkhising, who has a Masters in Elementary Education, five years experience teaching art in Chicago,
and returns for the fourth year to the Lamar Kids Art Camp.
